Andi M

Five years ago, in 2009, I was in a small class led by Alison James. She was telling each of us our strengths, and for me she added, "I see where you live. You live in the stars." I said, "Yep." She asked, "Do you have a hard time staying here?" I said, "Yep." I had found a way to live outside my body, and just completely off the planet. Migraines and the drugs for them had given me no other decent place. Now, with various fixes, I'm fine. I look around with a clearer mind and note that I would not be interested in personally colonizing Mars. And although I still enjoy calling occupants of interplanetary craft, it's no longer to join them; it's just to catch up on the news. Update: The other day, when I saw Alison again for a reading, she noticed that I was not living in the stars anymore. I'm getting closer to Earth. Not quite on Earth yet but closer. This song will get me here and keep me here.
